Welcome to Service Users and Caregivers at Oxford Brookes

If you use NHS health or local social work services, or care for someone receiving health or social work support,  we'd like to hear from you. You could help us to train health and social workers and develop courses at Oxford Brookes.

We welcome applications from people who have experience of:

• health care or social work services 

• providing unpaid support to family members, partners or friends who receive health or care services

Service Users and Caregivers help us with

• course design, approval and evaluation

• recruitment of students

• designing course materials

• teaching 

• examinations

We offer payment for your time and expenses. 

Service Users and Caregivers can be involved when students are on placement and in the classroom. Classes and meetings may take place online or in person.

Service Users and Caregivers are often involved in our research projects in health and social work at Oxford Brookes. This is how we work with service users and caregivers.
