In order to meet the entry requirements for your chosen programme of study, in addition to the academic requirements set out in your offer, you are also required to complete professional 'Fitness to Practise' clearances. We kindly ask that you treat this as a priority and complete the clearance as soon as you are able following accepting Oxford Brookes as your firm choice.
Failure to meet these conditions will, unfortunately, affect your offer of a place at the University, and your ability to continue with your course and could prevent you from securing accommodation. If there is anything that you are unsure of, please contact clearanaces.hls@brookes.ac.uk.
You will also be given an appointment to attend an immunisation clinic at the Centre for Occupational Health and Wellbeing at the JR Hospital during Semester 1. This appointment is extremely important and every effort must be made to attend. Students who do not attend their allocated appointment and do not notify Occupational Health (occupationalhealthjr@ouh.nhs.uk) and the Clearance and Compliance Officer may be subject to a fine.
