Do join us for 'Walk & Talk'
First Monday of every month
April 4th, May 9th (2nd is a Bank Holiday)
12-1pm
Meet at 12pm outside the Buckley Building, Headington Campus
Run by the Wellbeing department, this group is open to all Oxford Brookes students.
Now more than ever, both walking and talking can have a positive impact on our mental health. But it’s not always easy to find space for either. We get together once a month to share a walk and time together (walking and not talking is also okay).
In order to run the group safely at the moment, we need to:
Ask that no-one attends if they have any potential covid-symptoms;
Walk in smaller groups (up to 6) if we need to;
Keep a social distance whilst walking;
Ask for personal details (name, student number) or track and trace purposes.
To find out more, please contact Kate Owen (kateowen@brookes.ac.uk).
This group is open to any student at Oxford Brookes who identifies themselves as being on the Autistic Spectrum. It's an open and supportive group, a chance to connect with others on a weekly basis. We catch up, check in and play games.
