The three main phases of the CoMUni intervention development process are outlined below:
Recruitment material for online survey
Phase 1 - Online survey (January - June 2022)
This research started with a large-scale online survey, which aimed to provide an overview of current undergraduate students' help-seeking behaviours when it came to their mental health.
This survey asked questions relating to students' help seeking behaviours and any barriers they faced when trying to access help for their mental wellbeing. A summary of some of the main results can be found on this poster.
Phase 2 - Online help-seeking workshops (November 2022)
In order to further explore the results from the survey, a series of three online workshops were conducted with undergraduate students exploring how to seek help as a student and how to overcome any challenges during the process.
These workshops aimed to be mutually beneficial; providing in-depth qualitative data for the researcher whilst also allowing students to gain skills and information they would find useful in the future.
The feedback gathered from students in this phase was reflected upon whilst planning the co-production stage of the project.

Phase 3 - Co-production meetings (January - May 2023)
During this phase, a student co-production team was formed that consisted of current undergraduate students attending Oxford Brookes University.
A number of co-production meetings were conducted, where the co-production team worked together to identify the most appropriate techniques, mediums and materials to provide in the intervention.
The process was completely guided by the team and as a result, the CoMUni resource was created.
