Welcome to the new normal. Superlatives no longer serve us as they may have done. Economy, policy, attitude and emotions are all disrupted. Hope must guide us now. Never has dialogue been more needful. In higher education the lists are growing: two approaches to take home exams, four ways to engage students, six things you must have on your VLE; diagrams and models bloom like flowers in our garden - if we are lucky. Better together? Or, go it alone? Institution, faculty or solo academic, cohorts and itinerant scholars seek new epistemic homes. BLTC20, as conceived, invited us to discuss the Inclusive Curriculum, Assessment and Employability. These three themes persist. But they all look different from here. A new hope? Or, the Empire strikes back? Let's talk about it now. In BLTC20 we aim to cultivate space for both formal presentations and open conversations.
