Katie Tomlinson - WISE Founder and Co-Chair
Katie is a co-founder of WISE and currently serves as the Head of Primary at the British School Manila. A dedicated leader in education since 2007, she has successfully held Headship roles in four different settings across Malaysia and the UK. She firmly believes that the most important leadership quality is the ability to listen, empowering those around her to grow and thrive.
A qualified Leadership Coach, Katie has presented at numerous conferences and published articles in the Times Educational Supplement, International School Leadership Magazine, and The FOBISIAN.
Passionate about building strong professional networks—particularly those that champion female empowerment—Katie was a founding member of WomenEd Malaysia. She is also a co-founder of The Mentorship Hub, a mentorship matching service designed to support women in education.

Thea Williams - WISE Founder and Co-Chair
Thea is currently Assistant Head of Senior School with responsibility for well-being and pastoral care. Thea also leads the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Committee and teaches IB Spanish. Thea has been living and working in Manila for four years. Before moving abroad, Thea taught in Surrey and held roles such as Head of Year, Assistant Head of Careers and MUN Director. Thea strongly believes that a key aspect of effective leadership is recognising the diverse skills and perspectives in teams and empowering others to best develop and demonstrate them.
Committed to development and continuous learning, Thea is engaging with wide-ranging learning related to DEIB and believes that self-reflection and vulnerability are fundamental in order to grow and to become better educators and leaders. Mentorship plays an important role in this process.

Cazzie Jude - Board Member
Cazzie Jude (She/her) is an experienced former principal and headteacher. She now works as a a leadership coach and school improvement consultant. She has over 30 years of experience working in education in the UK and internationally. She specialises in early years and primary education, coaching, and leadership. She has successfully led a variety of schools and want the best for every child. She believes in fostering cultures of kindness, collaboration, and high performance. Under her leadership, she has led schools to outstanding both in the UK and internationally.
Cazzie is known for her emotionally intelligent and values driven leadership style. She has a proven track record of empowering others and is described as someone who ‘quietly straightens the crowns of others’, particularly women. She believes in the power of coaching and mentoring. She is deeply committed to transforming leadership in schools by increasing the representation of women in senior roles and creating meaningful opportunities for them to excel.
As a WISE board member, Cazzie brings her expertise, vision, and relentless drive to champion women in leadership, ensuring that more women have the opportunities, confidence, and support to step into the roles they deserve.
Morag McCrorie - Board Member
Morag is Head of Secondary at Nexus International School Malaysia. She has been a senior leader for over 20 years, working in China and the UK.
She originally trained as a Modern Languages teacher and has authored a number of books and resources for language teaching.
She is interested in issues of equity and agency and is currently completing a Doctorate in Education on Female Leadership at Bath University.
Priya Ramteke - Board Member
Priya is the Head of Middle School at Oberoi International School - OGC Campus with over 20 years experience in educational leadership, staff development and curriculum design.
Priya successfully led the transition of her school to the International Baccalaureate framework that promotes critical thinking and inquiry.
She is also involved in various roles with the IB, NEASC and CIS globally. A passionate advocate for empowering students, inclusivity and a humanistic approach to schooling and education.
Radha Pandya - Board Member
Radha Pandya is the Deputy Head at Haileybury Almaty in Kazakhstan where she supports pupils and colleagues across both the Junior and Senior Schools.
With over 15 years experience in the educational sector, Radha has held leadership roles in schools in the UK, China and Kazakhstan. She is passionate about fostering inclusive leadership and supporting staff learning through professional pathways and career development.
Radha is an executive member of the FOBISIA CPD Committee, where she has presented at international conferences, and supported emerging leaders through coaching and mentorship.
Sophie Peters - Board Member
Sophie Peters (she/her) is the JEDI (Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion) and Safeguarding Coordinator at Teacher Horizons. She worked in schools in the UK and internationally as a history and politics teacher for nine years, and she was an EDI coordinator in an international school.
Sophie has spoken at international education conferences on issues of diversity and inclusion, presented webinars, been part of a team that has rewritten policies on greater pay equity, presented webinars with author Ngoc Nguyen, and consulted with UK organisations on sexual harassment policies.
Additionally, she has written on topics such as global citizenship, internationalism, belonging, and multilingualism in international schools. Currently, she is developing resources for inclusive leadership to leverage the power of diversity and safeguarding within international education.
Iyabo Tinubu - Board Member
Iyabo Tinubu (she/her) is an educator, DEIJ leader, student advocate, and lifelong learner with over a decade of experience in international education. She has taught in London, Beijing, Singapore, and Berlin, bringing a global perspective to her work in Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice (DEIJ) and student leadership.
Currently based at the International School of Beijing, she serves as Dean of Students, supporting students, families, and teachers in fostering inclusive, student-centered learning environments. Passionate about empowerment and representation, Iyabo is dedicated to ensuring that all students feel valued, seen, and capable of shaping their world. She believes in the power of culturally responsive teaching, leadership development, and strong relationships to create meaningful learning experiences.
Beyond the classroom, Iyabo is an active advocate in the education community, collaborating with AIELOC, WomenEd, WISE, and international DEIJ networks. She has led professional development initiatives, student leadership programs, and school-wide cultural events, ensuring that equity and belonging are at the heart of school culture.
Nicola Nelson - Board Member
Nicola has been an education professional for almost 31 years, including 15 years in secondary education and 16 years in primary education. For the past 22 years, she has held leadership roles including Director of Sixth Form, Headteacher and CEO/Executive Director of a group of schools.
Since 2019, she has been the Primary Principal of Garden International School in Kuala Lumpur. Nicola lives in Malaysia with her husband, Paul and her dog, Kopi. Her 26 year old son, Michael currently lives in the UK.
Nicola is a passionate advocate of supporting women in leadership and is network lead for WomenEd Malaysia. She is also a qualified coach and has led team and individual coaching programmes in several schools.
