Block 5 & 6 – Striking and Fielding/Gymnastics 

Nursery: In the striking and fielding unit, students will experience working with a variety of equipment and to develop individual skills leading to co-operative play. Children will be introduced to basic concepts such as hitting, catching, throwing, and running.

In the gymnastics unit, students will be involved in activities to develop body awareness, coordination, balance, flexibility, and strength. Children will practice exercises that help them develop coordination and control, such as skipping, hopping, and jumping.
