Parent Guide to Purchasing a Laptop

STEP 1: Evaluate appropriate laptops for your child (Chromebooks are a great option for all students)

STEP 2: Confirm the device meets BSC technical requirements & purchase the laptop

STEP 3: Bring your laptop into BSC's IT Dept for configuration

• Your device will be checked for compatibility with stated requirements & configured to connect to BSC's secure WiFi

STEP 4: Submit a signed Student BYOL Agreement when picking-up your configured laptop. 

STEP 5: Consider buying insurance for your child's laptop (strongly recommended).

STEP 6: Ensure your child has working headphones & fully charged laptop everyday.
