This course is run after regular school hours. The cost of the program is the student’s responsibility. The classroom instruction deals with the Connecticut Motor Vehicle Law, basic driving techniques, traffic safety, and licensing procedures. The driving portion consists of learning basic driving skills emphasizing developing good driving attitudes. Students must be sixteen (16) years old before starting the class and have a driver’s permit issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles.
Our Program provides:
Driver Education classes in 15 (2 hours each) classes for a total of 30 hours.
A state-mandated, 2-hour training session for each student and a parent;
This is scheduled for the first class in the evening.
Eight hours of behind-the-wheel instruction for each student.
