2017-2018 Student Supply List
The items on this list will be used frequently in your criminal justice class. All efforts have been made to minimize the cost of fully participating in the program. Please contact the instructor if you will have difficulty purchasing any of the items listed. Assistance may be available.
Classroom Supplies:
The following items will be used for classroom activities daily, such as notetaking, class work, and projects.
- Three Ring Binder
- Loose-leaf Note Paper and Graphing Paper
- Spiral Notebook (May need two by the end of the school year)
- Pens, Pencils, and Highlighters
- Coloring Markers and/or Colored Pencils
- USB/Thumb Drive
- One box of non-latex examination gloves (Criminal Justice 2 ONLY/Collected during the first two weeks of class)
- Wrist watch
Class Attire (REQUIRED):
Students are required to wear specific attire for class events. These events include: weekly inspection, guest speakers, physical fitness, field trips, internships, and extracurricular activities. The items below meet the class requirements:
- Bridging Communities Criminal Justice polo shirt (Short-Sleeve is Required)
- Short-Sleeve: Approximately $20
- Students are responsible for the cost of the shirt and must order the shirts through the Center.
- Information will be sent home the first week of school
- Khaki Pants
- Straight-leg/Boot cut (NO SKINNY)
- Cargo/BDU (Preferred, but not required)
- Returning students may continue to wear navy blue
- Black, plain belt
- Black, plain toe shoes
- Boots are preferred, but “dress” shoes and all black athletic shoes are acceptable
- Professional attire
- Females: Workplace appropriate dress or skirt/slacks and blouse
- Males: Non-denim pants and appropriate shirt and necktie
- Athletic/Gym Attire and Shoes
- Items must abide by class, Center, and school system dress codes
