E-Learning Plan
Below are the instructions to access our teachers' Google sites, and both teacher and student expectations:
1. To locate teacher Google sites, go to: www.bridgespreparatoryschool.org
2. Under the Academics tab, click on E-Learning
3. Scroll down and click on High School Teacher Websites
Once in the High School section, you will see that the sites are broken down by subject area in which you can select the appropriate teacher you are looking for.
Student Expectations:
Students will be expected to log into their device and join each of their classes as regularly scheduled. Our class start times are as follows:
1st Block: 8:00 AM
2nd Block: 9:45 AM
3rd Block: 11:20 AM
4th Block: 1:30 PM
Attendance will be taken at the beginning of each class according to who has logged into the virtual session.
Students will be responsible to complete the daily assigned tasks from the session, which will also be posted in the student's Google Classroom.
We understand that everyone's situation will not be the same; therefore, if there is an issue with the internet, power, or due to evacuation, please communicate with your teacher to let them know. Students that are not present in the virtual session will be marked as absent.
Students will be able to log off once they have received their independent practice, if they elect to do so.
Teachers will be expected to have their virtual sessions open for the duration of the class with the first 20-30 minutes being used for direct instruction. Once students have received their independent practice, the teacher will remain online should a student have a question or need assistance.
As always, if you have any questions, please reach out to Mr. Tooman at: dtooman@bridgespreparatoryschool.org
