Dear Third Grade Parents,
Welcome to 3rd Grade! I am so excited to be your child’s third grade Math and Science teacher. I am a graduate of the University of South Carolina, with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. This is my tenth year teaching and my third year at Bridges Prep. I've taught third, fourth, and fifth grade. I am certified in Montessori education and have my Gifted and Talented endorsement. I can't wait to grow together as a community of mathematicians and scientists.
I grew up in snowy Rochester, NY and moved to South Carolina in 2008 to attend the University of South Carolina. Go Gamecocks! When I'm not teaching, I love to read, go to the beach or on the boat, ride my bike, and spend time with my chocolate lab, Lou and my orange cat, Tuck. My parents and sister live in Columbus, Georgia and I love to go visit them, especially my niece, Siena. I look forward to meeting you all and having a wonderful year together!
