Dear Third Grade Parents,
Welcome to 3rd Grade! I am so excited to be your child’s third grade ELA and Social Studies teacher. I am a graduate of the University of South Carolina, with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. This is my fourteenth year teaching and my sixth year at Bridges Prep. I've taught third, fourth, and fifth grade. I am certified in Montessori education and an endorsed Gifted and Talented teacher. I can't wait to grow together as a community of readers, writers, and historians!
I grew up in snowy Rochester, NY and moved to South Carolina in 2008 to attend the University of South Carolina. Go Gamecocks! When I'm not teaching, I love to read, go to the beach or on the boat, ride my bike, and spend time with my husband and son, Henry. I look forward to meeting you all and having a wonderful year together!

We occasionally use Google Classroom to share links, classwork, and announcements. The Google Classroom code for your child’s class is listed below. We will guide all students through the process of joining during the first week of school.
In the event of an E-learning day, all assignments and virtual meeting links will be posted on Google Classroom.
However, our primary method of communication with families is through our weekly Friday emails. If your child is missing a critical assignment, we will contact you directly.
