E-Learning 1/9/24

As we know, we will be having an e-learning day on January 9th. Below is the information that has also been posted on Bloomz. Mrs. Walker went over the information in person as well with both classes on January 8th to explain assignments and expectations. As we find out at the same time as you and once things were together, if your child was picked up before 1:25 today, they missed Mrs. Walker's explanation, so they did not get the paper copy of the pre-test for Math that went home today.
ELA- Students have an assignment in their google classroom to complete under the topic of "E-Learning Day- 1/9/24"
Students can also work on their Lexia minutes/units and their Flocabulary assignments for the week!
SS- We will continue to work on our "Culture Pizza's" when we return to school. Students will be given plenty of work time to complete them and if we need to push back presentations, we will do so!
Math- Students will be assigned Dreambox lessons (calendar and starred) for students to complete. Students should also get their greenlight on Reflex!
Unit 3 Review- Their pre-test was sent home to allow them a chance to review for their assessment on January 10th. Their review slides are also located in their google classroom.

We will be meeting at 8:30 AM on January 9th. This meeting will count as attendance, as well as the completition of work. If your child is unable to attend the virtual meeting, please ensure their work is being completed so they can be marked present for the day!

ELA: Students will be answering Tuesday's questions on "The Polar Bear Son", along with a vocabulary assignment. (Listed on the stream page of their ELA Google Classroom page).
Social Studies: Please complete the reading for Unit 4, Slides 23-36. (Listed on the stream page of their Social Studies Google Classroom page).
Math: Students have the Unit 3 Multi-Digit Addition and Subtraction Post-Assessment on Wednesday, January 10th. A study guide was sent home on Monday, posted on Bloomz, and posted in the Math Google Classroom. The answer key is also posted on Google Classroom.
During E-Learning on Tuesday, the students will be required to complete an interactive Unit 3 Test Review Slideshow. This slideshow is posted on the Math Google Classroom, under "Assignments", "Unit Test Reviews", "Unit 3 Test Review". Mrs. LaGrone will go over this in the Google Meeting. Questions about the content of the test or concerns can be sent to Mrs. LaGrone's email: tlagrone@bridgesprep.org. She will be monitoring it closely throughout the day. Students may also leave a comment on Google Classroom on the slideshow assignment.
Students will also be required to have their 5 Dreambox lessons by Friday. To stay on track, please complete at least 1 Dreambox lesson.
