Spanish 4

Spanish 4 is an advanced course open to students who have obtained a B grade in Spanish 3. The course is in the form of literature survey and taught exclusively in Spanish. Students are expected to read fiction, poetry, and non-fiction works by noted Spanish and Latin American authors. It is assumed that they have already learned grammar, and have acquired skills in speaking, writing, reading, and understanding Spanish. Therefore, the curriculum for this course is designed to refine, perfect, and enhance these skills as well as to instill love of modern Hispanic literature while aiding in the very real desire for self-expression.
