Welcome to Japanese 3

This is an intermediate Japanese course for those who completed Japanese 1 and 2. The goal of this course is to enhance communication skills, reading ability, and writing skills. Additionally, the finer appreciation of Japanese culture and customs will be introduced through readings and cultural assignments. Students will explore different perspectives of Japanese lifestyle, historical events, and the arts. The course topics have an emphasis on conversational Japanese situations and conditions. Furthermore, students will begin producing their essays and reports in Japanese.
