If my student wants to collect donations, is there a form I should use? Nope. You don't need any forms for donations, you can just share this link for family and friends to donate: https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/donation-form/bcss-fun-run-2 We also have instagram posts you can download and share with your community!

Do I need to register or sign up my student for the Fun Run? Students don't have to sign up for the Fun Run. Teachers will bring classes out to the field when it's their time on Oct 2nd. Just make sure your student is dressed for the weather, and has a water bottle that day.

Will my student get 'credit' for donations? Yes and no. We won't have a prize for the most money raised, however there's a place for donors to input your students name so the donation is connected to them. If they like, your student can also track who donates on their behalf so they can send out a thank you note/text/call.

I want to come watch my student during the Fun Run.  How do I do that? Make a note of the time your student is running - based on their grade - and head on down to the field near the parking lot. You don't need to check into the office UNLESS you are volunteering. Feel free to bring a sign or pom poms to cheer on your student! Family members & siblings are welcome. Please NO dogs allowed.  We do ask that you let the teachers lead and manage students. So please don't separate your student from their classroom group unless you have connected with their teacher first. It can get busy down there!

Is October 2nd the last day to donate? Of course not! We know some families want to make a donation based on the number of laps their students run. We will keep the donation link up after the run once you have done all your tallying and collections!

Can I collect cash and checks? Yes of course! Feel free to collect cash or checks from friends and family if a digital donation is not preferred. See the details above under 'Pledge Today' on where and how to deliver your donations.

What about rain? October can be unpredictable! Unless it is a downpour the Fun Run will go on. So dress accordingly. If we do get nasty weather, we will announce a Rain Date the day before.

What is the grade color and school spirit thing about?  As a way to create another layer of fun and community building, we are encouraging students to dress in their grade color (listed above, below the donation tracker.) We also have invited teachers to work with students to get creative by making color-themed items. (Paper hats, signs to clip to their shirts, or anything else they can dream up. Lean into your class creativity.) This is completely optional and only if you have time. We definitely do not want to create extra work for you. The grade that shows the most spirit will win a PTA-sponsored party!
