Game Design:
Students designed and built their own obstacle course games (obbies) using Roblox Studio. They shared their projects on Padlet, invited peers to test their games, and used feedback to improve gameplay, design, and user experience. This project focused on creativity, coding, collaboration, and iterative design.
CTE Multimedia (Year 1 - Visual Design using Adobe Photoshop):
CTE Portfolios using BookCreator
As part of our 3-year Multimedia CTE program, students maintain digital portfolios to showcase their work, track growth, and reflect on their learning. These portfolios are updated regularly with class projects, skill development, and feedback, helping students build a professional body of work over time.
Middle School CTE:
How-to Technology Books using BookCreator
Students selected a topic related to digital citizenship or digital wellness and created an original how-to book using Book Creator. These interactive books are designed to educate peers on responsible online behavior, digital safety, and healthy tech habits—all while building skills in research, writing, and digital publishing.
6th Grade AI Posters
After earning their EVERFI Digital Wellness Certification, students used Adobe Express and generative AI tools to design a visual poster. Each poster included an AI-generated image and a helpful tip for using technology in a healthy, balanced way. Students focused on clear messaging and strong visual design to engage viewers and promote responsible tech habits.
VEX EXP Robotics
Students used VEXcode EXP to program a Clawbot to autonomously pick up a ring and place it on a post. This project focused on planning, testing, and refining robot movements while documenting progress in an engineering notebook.
