Summer Reading Opportunities

Important Information 

i.   There is free tutoring available through the library

ii.  Any reading is good reading

iii. There is a program called Kindergarten Countdown that helps prepare incoming kindergarten students - there are kits with supplies for practicing.  

iv. There are free apps that can be accessed with a library card to help with english language development:

1.     Rosetta Stone (usually very expensive) - free- can learn any language! 

2.     Libby - online books, audio books - great practice for ELPAC test

3.     TumbleBooks – online books good for younger readers

4.     Explora - research about animals

5.     Brainfuse - online tutoring with a licensed teacher, 10am-10pm available.  

                          Different languages are available.
