LEMA DIAZ (Hip Hop)
Lema Diaz, a leader in global dance, has represented Filipino talent for over 26 years. As Artistic Director of the Philippine Allstars, she made history with the Philippines' first Gold Medal at the World Hip Hop Championships in 2006. Founder of influential groups like Team X and Street Queens, Diaz has collaborated with top brands such as Nike and Coca-Cola and led workshops and performances across Asia and the U.S., making a significant impact on the Philippine dance scene.
Recognized internationally, Diaz has won awards in choreography and freestyle competitions worldwide and has appeared in major media and concert stages, including performances with artists like Ne-Yo and Jennifer Lopez. Her work continues to elevate Filipino culture on the world stage, securing her role as a prominent cultural ambassador and esteemed figure in the arts.
MA. CELINA DOFITAS (Contemporary)
Macel is a seasoned dancer and performer with a Bachelor of Performing Arts in Dance from De La Salle College of Saint Benilde in Manila, Philippines. With 13 years of professional experience, she has trained at the Garcia Sanchez School of Dance in Bacolod and has been a prominent performer in the dance community. She was a member of Ballet Philippines from 2011 to 2015 and has performed as a cast dancer for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. Additionally, she was a part of Alice Reyes Dance Philippines, showcasing her versatility and passion for dance throughout her career.
RHOSAM "SICKLEDSAM" VILLAREAL PRUDENCIANO JR. (Choreographer)
Rhosam Villareal Prudenciado Jr., widely known as "sickledsam," is an esteemed figure in Philippine contemporary dance. Founder of the LikhaPH Program and the Linear Fluidity Movement Style, Prudenciado has championed an inclusive approach to expressive movement. Previously the Artistic Director of Airdance Philippines, he has elevated Filipino dance on the global stage, including his 2009 Grand Prize win at the Yokohama Dance Collection, which earned him the Ani ng Dangal award and a scholarship to study contemporary dance in Paris. His work has been featured in prestigious Southeast Asian festivals, and he performed with Dance Dance Asia from 2016 to 2018.
In recent years, Prudenciado has completed significant residencies at Youkobo Art Space and TOKAS in Tokyo, emphasizing experimental movement research. Honored with the AET Koreograpiya and IPOPHIL Grant awards, he remains dedicated to advancing inclusive dance and has served as a mentor for emerging artists through the Cultural Center of the Philippines' Wi-Fi Body.ph Choreo Series.
ROMMEL SERRANO (Folk Dance)
Rommel Padillo Serrano, a renowned figure in Philippine dance and cultural arts, has dedicated over 32 years to advancing Filipino heritage on national and international stages. As a former member of the Ramon Obusan Folkloric Group and founder of the La Salle Filipiniana Dance Company, Serrano has represented the Philippines at numerous global cultural festivals, earning distinguished honors such as Outstanding Teacher in Quezon Province (2008) and “1st Natatanging Anak Ng Bayan Ng Catanauan” for Arts and Culture (2014). His esteemed folkloric group, Kalilayan, has gained widespread recognition, securing top awards and performing in countries including the United States, Japan, and Singapore, and has been featured at ASEAN and APEC events.
Serrano’s expertise extends beyond performance; he is a respected cultural costume consultant and stylist, contributing to major events like the ASEAN Summit and the Manila Metropolitan Theater’s 90th Anniversary. Known for his commitment to promoting Filipino cultural heritage, he has worked in national pageantry, theatrical productions, and government events. Honored as a “Hero of the Pandemic” by the LEAF Presidential Emeritus Awards, Serrano continues his impactful work as a speaker, trainer, and founder of the Kalilayan Folkloric Group, underscoring his dedication to the preservation and celebration of Philippine arts and culture.
