challenge your child to find that many objects for each number - for example, find three cars for the number three, or five crayons for the number five
you can put dots next to the number to help your child identify the number

watch out your window and tally what color of car passes by - can also do this when taking a walk!
when done, count out how many cars of each color you saw. Which one has the most? The fewest? Were any numbers the same?
