About Your Teacher

Having grown up in Kitsap County, I absolutely love having the opportunity to teach here in Bremerton. As a student, I attended North Kitsap and Central Kitsap schools. I spent my years as a student investing my time in joining extra curriculars such as Girl Scouts, yearbook, ASB and math/science olympians in elementary. Throughout middle school and high school, I invested my time in band from concert band and wind ensemble, to marching band. Hours were spent not only playing my clarinet, but learning the importance of team building and belonging .

As a student, I absolutely loved learning and would challenge myself with the honors and AP classes. Though learning was something I found easy and enjoyable, I also learned what it was like to struggle. My teachers growing up, and the opportunity to help peers learn the joy of learning and how to problem solve, led me to teaching.

Other than teaching, you will always find me with a coffee in hand, going for a run, laughing with friends and family, or looking for new learning opportunities.
