This rigorous senior course is designed for the literacy skills necessary to be successful in the business world. We will focus on informational texts around the topics of business, finance, advertising, science, technology, and career pathways. Students will have multiple opportunities to work on real-world projects both independently and in teams, with an emphasis on writing, research, and presentation.
This is what I call a two-for-one class!
Students earn an English or a CTE credit and, if they earn a grade of 2.0 or higher, will receive college credit articulated through Olympic College.

Mock Interviews - Tuesday, February 24
Community volunteers are needed to help facilitate a round robin-style Mock Interview event. Our goal is to have each of our 110 seniors enrolled in CIB be given the opportunity for a mock interview. Students will receive classroom instruction and practice prior to this event. Volunteers, will initially meet together with our College & Career Counselor, Chris Swanson, who will lay out the process, expectations, and distribute a sheet of questions to ask students, and best practices for giving feedback.
