The Rules for Snip City

• All appointment deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE!  ABSOLUTLEY NO EXCEPTIONS!!!

• DO NOT-I REPEAT-DO NOT CALL BRANSON HUMANE SOCIETY!!!

  • They do NOT have access to any information from Snip City.

• No more than two pets per household per day. With no more than one FEMALE per day/per household.

  • You can do 2 males OR 1 male/1 female

    • You can NOT do 2 females

• ANY form of abuse (verbal, physical or otherwise) will NOT be tolerated.  You will lose any deposits paid and be banned from the clinic.

• READ YOUR EMAIL AND TEXT MESSAGES FROM SNIP CITY!!!

• It is YOUR responsibility to make sure your pet is healthy enough to withstand surgery.

• If your animal has a notable flea infestation, your pet WILL be given a Capstar.  The fee is $5 and is due upon pick-up.

• DOGS-Must be on a secure leash.  If you show up without a leash you can purchase a slip lead from Snip City for $4.  Payment is due upon check-in.

• CATS-Must be in a secure carrier.  If you have two cats, they MUST be in separate carriers.  ABSOLUTLEY NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS RULE!

  • If you do not have a proper carrier/carriers you can purchase a cardboard carrier from Snip City for $10.  This is payable upon check-in.

• Do NOT touch ANY other animal in the clinic.  These are other people's pets and/or shelter animals.  They are NOT for adoption.

• If you misgender your pet-there is NO guarantee that he/she will receive the sterilization surgery that day.  It is YOUR responsibility to make sure your animal is sexed correctly!

• If we find an anatomical anomaly, such as an umbilical hernia, cryptorchid males, etc., that is easily repairable and at the Veterinarian's discretion, the anomaly will be corrected and you will be charged an additional fee.

• If your pet is pregnant-there will be an additional fee as this causes a much longer procedure time than normal.

• If we try to contact you during surgery for an imminent situation and you do not answer/respond, the Veterinarian will make the best decision for your pet at that specific time.  

• It is at your discretion to purchase additional pain meds (dogs only-cats receive an injection that lasts for 3 days) and/or an e-collar.  Both of these are HIGHLY recommended and can be purchased at Snip City at a substantial discount. 

• If you arrive up to 15 minutes after pick-up time closes (4 pm) you will be charged a $50 late fee.

  • If you are more than 15 minutes late your pet will be boarded overnight and the fee is $100.  Each of those fees are payable BEFORE checkout.
