About Me

I would like to take this opportunity to tell you a little bit about myself. I am proud to say this is my 26th year teaching third grade at HSE!

I am absolutely honored to be your child's teacher this year!

When I am not teaching, I love to spend time with my I family (we're Italian, so there is always great food and loud conversations!) and friends. My husband Brett, and I have the ultimate gift, a gorgeous girl. Our daughter, Giuliana is in 8th grade!  We love to laugh, take on adventures on the water and land, and we just enjoy spending time together as a family. We also have 2 feisty cats (Goldie and Tasha)  and one paw-some dog! (Misha) Mr. Welling is totally outnumbered by girls.

Parents are a child’s first educator and I believe if we work together, it will help your child succeed. You can expect open communication and understanding from me. I will be willing to assist you and your child in any  way that I can in order to promote positivity, responsibility and safety as well as help him/her succeed. I am very excited and  I am looking forward to a great school year!
