Google Classroom 

For the convenience of students and parents, I will be using Google Classroom as a course management system.  

Personal Finance, Introduction to Business, and Graphics/Web Design will use Google Classroom almost exclusively. However, Accounting 1 will use Google Classroom for information sharing but will use NGL Sync (Mindtap) to do most accounting assignments. Likewise, Programming 1 will use Google Classroom for communication but will do most of their assignments on ProjectSTEM. 

Guardian Email Summaries from Google Classroom

Once students are enrolled, guardians may request that they be sent weekly emails about their child's progress.

Guardian email summaries include:

• • Missing work—Work that’s late at the time the email was sent

  • Upcoming work—Work that’s due today and tomorrow (for daily emails) or, work that’s due in the upcoming week (for weekly emails)

  • Class activity—Announcements, assignments, and questions recently posted by teachers

 To  sign up for guardian email summaries:

• 1. Request from the teacher an emailed invitation for your student.

  2. In your email program, open your email invitation.

  3. Click Accept.

     • If you’re not the guardian, click I’m Not The Guardian.

     • You can choose the frequency of the emails, such as daily or weekly.

     • You can unsubscribe or remove yourself from Classroom at any time.
