I have been an educator at Brandon High School since the 1998-1999 school-year. My educational background includes a Computer Science major, a Business major, and a Mathematics minor. I have also earned a Master’s of Arts in Teaching and Learning. Being an educator truly is my passion. While my field of study changes frequently, I pride myself on being a lifelong learner and I continue to learn for, as well as alongside, my students.
The district updated the computer systems in our lab in the 2024-2025 school year. t love what I teach and I take pride in the programs we offer. I work hard with the administration and the technology department to keep the hardware and the software as updated for your young people as I can so they are ready for whatever challenge they seek in the future!
When I am not teaching, I love to spend time with my family. Shortly after I became a teacher at BHS, my husband and I relocated to Ortonville and we have raised our family here. All three of our children have attended Brandon Schools. With each of them having their own interests, I can frequently be found at many different types of after-school activities cheering on my own children as well as my students. Our family truly "Bleeds blue and white!"
I am dedicated to helping your child succeed. Please reach out to me, preferably by email at kleslie@brandon.k12.mi.us, if you need to contact me for any reason. Please remember that I am available for extra help and, because I am only 10 minutes away, I am willing to come in at the conclusion of after-school activities and employment responsibilities if needed.
