Classroom Expectations for Learning

Our class will get the most out of our learning time and learn what it means to be a student in a developmentally appropriate way.

• We will focus on what it looks and sounds like to be a learner.

• We will do our best to use our manners, get our whole bodies ready and have fun.

• Our learning will most often be hands-on and/or play based.

• Our daily schedule will allow us to not be in one place for extended amounts of time.

• We will all use the bathroom throughout the day to eliminate the need to go during learning time as much as possible. Of course, children will be able to go whenever they need to.

• We will have time to play and time to move our bodies and get our wiggles out! We will have choice time at least once per day, recess everyday and time to for music and movement!
