Absences:
Members are expected to attend all chapter meetings. ( Bylaws, Article VIII, Section 3)
Missing a chapter meeting without receiving approval from a Chapter Advisor for a leave of absence at least 24 hours beforehand, an absence due to illness without a doctor’s note, or arriving after the doors are locked will be marked as an unexcused absence.
Each unexcused absence will result in four penalty hours for the member. If a member obtains two unexcused absences, they shall be placed upon probation for one full semester.
If a member misses more than two chapter meetings, either excused or unexcused, it shall result in a faculty council meeting with the consideration of a loss of membership.
Attendance:
Members will highlight their name on a printed list right when they walk in
Doors are locked 5 minutes after a meeting starts. A meeting is considered started after the first member highlights their name on the attendance sheet.
