Students met April 11th from 2-3:30pm ET to discuss texts by Sydette Harry in anticipation of the April 15th seminar "Digital Harassment and Online Gender Violence"  organized by Prof. Dorothy Kim.

Students held a screening of Horror Noire: A History of Black Horror on March 21st from 3:30-5:30pm ET in anticipation of the April 4th seminar "Remake, Resist, Rewind: Surviving the Horror Film" organized by Prof. Brandon Callender.

Students met February 13th from 4-5:30pm ET to discuss the introduction to Bernadine Hernández's book Border Bodies: Racialized Sexuality, Sexual Capital, and Violence in the Nineteenth-Century Borderlands (2022).

Students met January 16th from 2-4pm ET to discuss a chapter from panelist Jeong-Mi Park’s forthcoming book The State of Sexuality (2024), which engages social policy, gender studies, U.S. influence in foreign government policy, and state building.
