Bio
I started working in the Braham School District in 2003. I am a 2001 graduate of the University of Minnesota - Duluth with a major in K-12 Instrumental Music and a minor in Jazz Studies. I received my Master's Degree in the area of Education in Teaching and Learning from Saint Mary's University in 2010. I recently finished my Master's degree in Music degree through Northern State University in Aberdeen, SD in May 2024.
I teach 4-6 classroom music, 5th grade band, 6th grade band, Jr. High band, 5th-8th grade band lessons, and High School Band. I also teach sections of College Band and Jazz through Central Lakes College concurrently with my other ensembles. My extra-curricular responsibilities include the Jazz Band, Fall Musical, Pep Band, Spring Play Tech Director and Senior Class Advisor.
As a performer, I perform with the East Central Grad Band and the Meire Grove Band. I also perform as member of the pit band for many Play Inc. performances, as well as, for a few productions by Cambridge-Isanti High School..
I am a member of NAFME, MBDA, and MMEA.
