- The High School Band meets every day during 5th hour. This is a shared hour with High School Choir, so students are able to take both classes if they choose. The hour is split with lunch halfway through. Students are also able to take College Community Band through Central Lakes College for college credit during this hour. Performances during the year include: Fall Concert, Winter Concert, MSHSL Large Group Contest, Spring Concert, Memorial Day, and Graduation.
- The Jr. High Band meets every other day during 6th hour. The hour is shared with Jr. High Choir, so students can take both classes if they choose. Full Band (small choir) meets on Mondays and Wednesdays. Full Choir (small band) meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Generally, Friday is a rotational day. Students will have quarterly playing tests as part of their grade..Performances include a Fall Concert, Winter Concert, and a Spring Concert.
- 5th and 6th grade band will meet once per week. Each homeroom will have a band class period of about 45 minutes.
- 4th, 5th, and 6th grade Music will be divided into 2 equal size sections for music. They will meet for 50 minutes every other day, rotating with PE.
- The Jazz Band is an extra-curricular activity and requires payment of an Activity Fee. It is open to students in 7-12 grade. Students should be members of the Jr. High Band or High School band to meet the requirements set by the MSHSL for Contest. We meet from 7:00 - 7:45 am on Mondays and Wednesdays (occaissionally we will meet on a Thursday - depending on scheduling). Students are able to take College Jazz through CLC for college credit during this time. Performances during the year include: Homecoming Coronation, performance at Elmhurst Commons, performance in the school hallway, All-Conference Jazz Festival, Dessert Concert, MSHSL Solo/Ensemble Contest, Big Band Extravaganza, Education Foundation Gala, and a Spring Concert.
- Musical is an extra-curricular activity and requires payment of an Activity Fee. All musical productions are performed in November of each year and are open to all 7-12th grade students.
- The Pep Band is an extra-curricular activity. There is no fee to be a part of the Pep Band. It is open to students in grades 7-12. Students should be members of the 7-8 Band or the 9-12 Band. The Pep Band plays at home events for Football, Volleyball, Boy's Basketball, Girl's Basketball, and Wrestling. Students are eligible to letter in Pep Band if they attend 75% of the events.
- Marching Band takes place in early summer for Braham Appreciation Day (1st Sat. in June). We typically rehearse during school in May with extra rehearsals in June if we are able. The only cost to be a part of the Marching Band is the purchase of a t-shirt to use as a uniform.
