Integrated Math 1 Syllabus
OVERVIEW
Integrated Math 1 covers topics from Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, and Statistics. After completion of the course students are expected to:
● Communicate effectively through discussion
● Work collaboratively to learn from each other
● Prepare for Integrated Mathematics II
● Compute problems with and without technology and in a variety of manners
● Develop skills to be better independent learners
STUDENT RESPONSIBILITIES
Each student must be in class and ready to begin before class starts. The following materials will
assist with achievement and are highly recommended:
1. One spiral notebook
2. Glue Stick(s)
3. Pencils
4. Textbook
5. Highlighters (optional)
6. Different colored pens (optional)
7. Laptop or Computer (not a cell phone)
VIRTUAL CLASSROOM NORMS
1. Be on time and log in 5 minutes early
2. Be ready with all necessary materials.
3. Camera on, mic off.
4. Be mindful of your location and background. If you must, select a virtual background.
5. Be mindful of your language and choices. Remember that inappropriate jokes, screen shots, and
sharking of links are not acceptable.
6. Be dressed appropriately. Dress yourself as if you are in a classroom.
7. Keep cell phones, TVs, and other media off or away while in class.
8. Restroom and snack breaks should happen during teacher-designated times.

Note: Extremely inappropriate and/or disruptive behavior will not follow this procedure. They may require an immediate referral.
9. Participation is mandatory. Use the chat, raise your hand, and contribute to class
discussions when appropriate.
GRADING SCALE/GRADE BREAKDOWN
Your grade will reflect to what degree you have met the standards and learning goals. Retakes will
not be allowed.
Mastery:
Assignments and assessments graded for accuracy. (Weight)
Chapter Test 30%
Final Exam 20%
Homework 25%
Participation 10%
Quizzes 15%
Coursework:
Assignments, assessments, and participation graded for completion.
90-100% A
80-89% B
70-79% C
60-69% D
0-59.9% F
