The cycle commission of physical and mathematical disciplines consists of 8 teachers who have the appropriate professional higher education. These are Bondarenko L.S., Stupak H.A., Odintsova A.V., Shevchenko I.A., Matviichuk V.A., Bondarenko V.A., Prysiazhniuk V.P., Yakobchuk S.O. The commission is headed by Bondarenko L.S. The commission consists of 5 teachers with the qualification category “Specialist of the highest category”, 2 teachers-methodologists, 3 senior teachers.   

   Teachers of the cycle commission ensure that students acquire knowledge in general education disciplines (mathematics, physics and astronomy, computer science) and professional training disciplines (basics of the primary mathematics course with methods of teaching mathematics education, information and communication technologies of teaching and technical means of teaching, methods of teaching information education).

   Methodological problem of the commission:   "Development of subject competencies and creative abilities of students by means of personality-oriented learning in the study of subjects of the physical and mathematical cycle". 

   The educational and methodological work of teachers is aimed at improving the methodological techniques of teaching students to develop a conscious attitude to academic work, to the process of self-cognition in the study of natural and mathematical disciplines, to improve the methodological techniques of organizing independent work as a didactic condition for increasing the cognitive activity of students, ensuring the development of professional qualities and optimizing the educational process.  To achieve these goals, we systematically study the materials of educational, methodological and pedagogical literature, regulatory documents, improve and update educational and methodological complexes, replenish media libraries of educational videos and video fragments, discuss ways to enhance the cognitive activity of students and methods of ensuring the practical orientation of classroom classes and extracurricular activities, use the technologies of the project method, information and search activities.

   The cycle commission pays special attention to improving the learning process, forms and methods of organizing theoretical and practical classes: elements of competition, quizzes, creation and defense of projects, presentations, and research work are used.   

   In order to improve the creative potential and development of students' scientific activity, as well as the development of professional qualities, the department organizes clubs where students conduct search and research activities and have the opportunity to expand their knowledge of general education disciplines.  Every year, the commission's teachers organize subject weeks and decades, whose activities are focused on developing students' cognitive activity and professional qualities, their creative initiative, general cultural level, and making the learning outcomes practical. 

     The cycle commission works closely with teachers of general secondary education institutions to study and share their experience and discuss key issues of educational work.  Joint methodological associations, scientific and practical seminars, and open lessons of teachers and students have become a system of work.  

    Teachers of the commission are constantly working to improve their professional level, participate in conferences, seminars, webinars, competitions, and undergo internships of various levels.
