Happy National Pride Day - Vyshyvanka Day!
On April 30, 2025, the teachers of the Cycle Commission of Mathematical Disciplines and Informatics of the Pedagogical Specialist College of Khortytsia National Academy held a webinar ‘The use of modern teaching aids as a tool for the formation of mathematical competence of students’ within the framework of the academic mobility programme, which was attended by teachers of the Balta Pedagogical Professional College L.S. Bondarenko, H.A. Stupak and V.A. Bondarenko.
Teachers of mathematical disciplines presented their teaching experience. Particular attention was paid to new approaches to teaching mathematics, the use of modern teaching tools, including the use of GeoGebra to develop knowledge and skills in mathematics lessons, the creation of interactive posters, and the use of the online Jamboard for conducting distance learning in mathematics.
We sincerely thank our colleagues for organising this event, presenting interesting and informative material on improving the mathematical cycle classes in the current conditions.
We are grateful to the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the security and the opportunity to cooperate and grow in our field of activity.
The modern world poses new challenges to us, and the ability to quickly adapt to change and be flexible is becoming increasingly important. This issue is particularly relevant for the education sector. A modern teacher is a professional who must actively use modern technologies and innovative teaching methods to effectively convey knowledge to students, promote critical thinking, creativity and independence in students. Only a motivated teacher who has the freedom to be creative and develop professionally can fulfil these tasks. It is with the aim of developing professional skills that on 27 March 2025, A.M. Mazko, a teacher of the highest category at Balta Lyceum No. 2, conducted an interactive methodological workshop for second-year students of the first bachelor's degree at the Balta Pedagogical Professional College on the topic: "Mathematical hodgepodge: recipes for strong knowledge". The students plunged into the world of childhood with great enthusiasm, replenished their knowledge with new forms, methods and techniques of work in the primary school mathematics class.
We sincerely thank Alla Mykhailivna and the school administration for their cooperation and joint efforts in the formation of primary education specialists.
L. Bondarenko, lecturer of teaching methods in the mathematics education sector of the Balta Pedagogical Professional College.
Congratulations on your victory!
Liudmyla Pidmohylna, a student of the 14th year of the Balta Pedagogical Professional College, took part in the Open All-Ukrainian Championship in Aerial Gymnastics and Pole Sports ‘Perfect 2025’, which took place on 5-6 April in Vinnytsia.
As a result of her performance, Liudmyla won the Grand Prix in the Original Genre nomination and was awarded the crown for the most outstanding performance.
We are sincerely proud of her achievements, talent, charisma and perseverance. We wish her new achievements, inspiration and confident movement forward to new heights!
The last week of March was extremely busy for the 4th year students of the Balta Pedagogical Professional College, as they defended their term papers, which they had been working on for the past two years. A term paper is one of the most important forms of independent work of students, in the course of which they learn to work with scientific and methodological literature, logical reasoning, handling abstract objects, correct use of mathematical concepts and symbols, and competent design of scientific publications. Coursework in the disciplines ‘Methods of teaching mathematical general education’ and ‘Methods of teaching computer science general education’ contribute to a more in-depth study of the course in these disciplines, understanding its formation and development, the use of modern information and communication tools and technologies, and also allow for research on the effectiveness of the educational process at school in accordance with the topic of the course work.
Students Oleksandr Rebrii (43rd year), Violetta Bilous and Yevheniia Roiland (44th year), Anton Tutevych (42nd year), Valeriia Shapovalova (41st year) (supervisors - L.S. Bondarenko and V.A. Bondarenko) successfully coped with the assigned tasks, expressed their thoughts and suggestions, confidently defended their point of view. Oleksandr Rebriy willingly shared his experience with third-year students who also chose to take coursework in the above disciplines.
So we wish our graduates to continue to step forward with confidence to achieve their goals.
Choosing a profession is a difficult and crucial stage in every person's life, as this important decision can significantly affect their future path and set the tone for their future life. This task is not only about choosing what a person wants to do, but also about achieving the goals and values that are really important to them.
Career guidance helps current graduates make an informed choice of profession in accordance with their abilities and preferences. Lyudmila Bondarenko and Antonina Odintsova, teachers of the cycle commission of physical and mathematical disciplines of the Municipal Institution ‘Balta Pedagogical Professional College’, visited the general secondary education institutions of the Lyubashivska territorial community of Podilskyi district of Odesa region, held informational talks with 9th and 11th grade students, and familiarised them with the conditions of admission, study and living at the college.
We thank the administrations of the educational institutions for the opportunity for productive communication and further cooperation.
