HIGH SCHOOL

STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS

  • Blood Drive will be Feb. 26, sign up in the office. You must be 17, weigh at least 110 pounds and have a picture id.
  • The last day to guarantee a yearbook is Monday, February 24. They can be purchased online at www.jostensyearbooks.com, or bring cash or a check (made out to Brookland High School Yearbook) to Ms. Lee. They are still $55.
  • The Brookland Flagline is preparing for the 2020 season. We will have an interest meeting regarding tryouts on Friday February 28th during 7th period in the auditorium. Grades 8-11 welcome. If you are interested but not able to attend please see Mrs. Hannah Nelson.
  • Men n Black tuxedos coupons are in the office or you can text PROM to 474747
  • High school dance tryouts for grades 9-11 will be the week of March 16th-19th. Information packets are in the high school office.
  • Arkansas Methodist Medical Center Foundation Pageant will be Sat, March 7 at Greene County Tech. Information and registration forms are in the office.
  • Any student interested in participating in the St. Bernards Jr. Volunteer Summer Program, email Candace Campbell for information. ccampbell@bpsbearcats.com
  • Any junior or senior interested in touring the New York Institue of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine, please email Candace Campbell, ccampbell@bpsbearcats.com, by Wednesday, Feb. 25 for the application. There are only 10 spots available.
  • It will be a three-week session only accepting 16 students from surrounding areas. The session will be held from July 10-July 31. Deadline to apply is Friday, April 17.
  • Any sophomore or junior interested in participating in the MASH Summer Program, email Candace Campbell for information. ccampbell@bpsbearcats.com; This is a day program; transportation and housing are not available. Deadline to apply is April 10.
  • The March of Dimes Chain Reaction Youth Council is currently accepting applications for new council members. Students in 9th and 10th grade can pick up applications from the office. Chain Reaction participates in volunteer activities and fund-raisers for the March of Dimes Foundation throughout the year.
  • The Tracie Troops bracelets can be purchased in each school's office, or you can place an order by filling out a form and paying online. All proceeds go directly to the Richey Family.
