Has taught music in Batavia for 19 years and throughout 7 schools

Was named a Yamaha 40 Under 40 Educator in 2023

Graduated Magna Cum Laude in Music Education from VanderCook College of Music in Chicago

Received Masters of Instructional & Educational Technology from NIU, and completed the first BPSU program for Batavia educators

Main band instruments are: saxophone, baritone, & percussion

Main orchestra instruments are:  violin & cello

Main additional instruments are: piano & ukulele

I love music, birding, playing board games, watching tiktoks, and anything that makes me LAUGH :)

I live in Montgomery with my husband Dave and our 3 cats: Salmon, Minnow, and Nemo!
