Has taught music in Batavia for 20 years and throughout 7 schools!

Was named a Yamaha 40 Under 40 Educator in 2023.

Was nominated for Kane County "Educator of the Year" in 2025.

Graduated Magna Cum Laude in Music Education from VanderCook College of Music in Chicago.

Received Masters of Instructional & Educational Technology from NIU, and completed the first BPSU program for Batavia educators.

Main band instruments are: saxophone, baritone, & percussion.

Main orchestra instruments are:  violin & cello.

Main additional instruments are: piano & ukulele.

Loves  music, birding, playing board games, watching tiktoks, and anything that makes me laugh! :)

Lives  in Montgomery with my husband Dave and our 3 crazy cats: Salmon, Minnow, and Nemo!
