  • Directive: Must be mandatory
  • Administered by Trained Professionals: Highly trained teachers working with the students most at risk.
    • Teachers, EL, Resource, and Paraprofessionals
  • Targeted: Target interventions by the student, the standard, and the learning target, and address the cause of the student’s difficulty in learning.
    • Data review, Grade Level Team Meetings (Teacher Input), Daily Informal Assessments, and Progress Monitoring
  • Timely: Respond promptly when students do not learn.
