a. Open box
b. Check items off sales inventory sheet
c. Set aside for cataloging
3) Cataloging
a. Determine the cataloging utility that will be used—in Library World, we use the Library of Congress record by searching by ISBN
b. Order MARC record
c. Record from scratch
4) Processing
a. Stamp with ownership stamp on title page of book
b. If hardcover, place on a plastic book cover
c. Add barcode
5) Keep inventory list in folder with vendor name
6) Add item to accession record

1) Record in magazine file/spreadsheet on computer
