What is Anxiety?
...a feeling of worry, nervousness or unease
How can this show up?
excessive worrying
feeling agitated
restlessness
fatigue
difficulty concentrating
irritability
tense muscles
trouble falling or staying asleep
How to Do It:
Inhale slowly and gently through your nose while you count to 4.
Hold the breath while you count to 4.
Slowly breathe out through your mouth on a count of 4.
Pause your breathing for another 4.
Repeat at least 3 times!
...a practice to teach us how to quiet our thoughts by focusing on the present moment without judgment.
When we can quiet our mind and stay in the present, we can reduce our anxiety and relax our bodies.

When we are feeling:
Tense
Overwhelmed
Difficulty focusing
Shallow/irregular breathing
