AP Literature is a college-level course that challenges students to read deeply, think critically, and write analytically about complex texts. The summer reading assignments are designed to help you develop the skills and habits necessary for success in the course. 

The students who are most successful in AP Literature are those who read actively. Annotate, ask questions, track patterns, and think about why authors make the choices they do.
