COVID-19 Academic Support for K-12 Students
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, a group of students from Harvard, MIT, Princeton, and Yale have created a free platform for pairing undergraduate mentors with K-12 students who have been affected by school closures. The goal of this virtual service is to provide a resource for students including tutoring, college preparation, and personalized mentorship.

CARES Act Grants for Immigrant Students
Immigrant students attending Massachusetts colleges may be eligible for emergency grants under the CARES Act. The grants could pay for costs related to educational disruption caused by the pandemic including technology purchases for online courses, internet fees, course materials, unexpected childcare costs, travel expenses, and other costs. Racism and Mental Health Resources
MGH Center for Cross Cultural Student Emotional Wellness put together fact sheets with topics related specifically to Asian American mental health. They get translated into multiple different Asian languages. Please click here to check them out.

Immigration Resources
Do you need immigration advice from a lawyer? Volunteer lawyers work with the Mayor’s Office for Immigrant Advancement (MOIA) to offer free immigration consultations on the first and third Wednesday of every month from 12 pm to 3 pm. To schedule an appointment call (617) 635-2980 or email immigrantadvancement@boston.gov. During COVID-19, appointments are by telephone. Interpretation and disability accommodations are available. More information in several languages can be found on boston.gov/immigrant.
Relief Fund for BPS Families: To help address this crisis in our city, the Unafraid Educators Committee is partnering with Boston Educator’s Justice Alliance (BEJA) to establish a Relief Fund for Boston Students & Families. The fund is available to all families with children in the Boston Public Schools, and it is accessible to all families, regardless of immigration status or eligibility for other benefits.
