On June 11th, 2025 BPS will be celebrating International Day of Play!
The United Nations designated the date of June 11th, 2024 to be the first ever observed and recognized International Day of Play. While play is important for all ages, it is vital for a child's development and well-being. Through play children can learn first hand on how to build relationships, overcome challenges, foster creativity, and many more inherent life skills. International Day of Play celebrates the benefits of play while also increases awareness to ensure equitable play for all children worldwide.Â
