Boston PIC will be running a series of "Summer Jobs Sector Preview Days" for Boston Public High School students. Companies hiring summer interns will share important information about their internship program (examples of departments, professional development opportunities, dates, wages, etc.) Students will have the chance to ask questions directly to hiring employers. Students who attend these virtual sessions will be given first access to the PIC application to apply for these opportunities.  RSVP BELOW!!!

Are you interested in a paid summer BIOMEDICAL RESEARCH biomedical research experience at Harvard Medical School?

 

We are seeking applications for Project Success: Opening the Door to Biomedical Careers at Harvard Medical School. The program will run in-person for 8 weeks beginning the last week in June to August 18th. Project Success students MUST currently be high school juniors or seniors and reside in either Boston or Cambridge, MA. All Project Success paid interns will be matched with a lab mentor and assigned to a Harvard Medical School research lab. Project Success students will be paid during the duration of the program. Use the High School Student Application Checklist for preparing and submitting an application. Applications must be completed electronically. The checklist has detailed instructions to gather materials, prepare responses and submit. The Project Success web page includes videos which will help students understand what to expect and provides additional detail on eligibility criteria. Please review the criteria to determine if you are eligible before submitting.

SEASONAL/ PART-TIME JOBS AT OLD NAVY, STUDENTS 16+


 SPORT XPOSURE IS LOOKING FOR INTERNS!!!

This program provides students with an opportunity to explore and be exposed to the many different careers in collegiate, and professional sports. Students will be partnered with one organization and intern in four different sectors in the industry for 6-8 weeks. Based on students' application they will be invited to interview with an organization that aligns with their skills and interests. Then from there the organization will choose their choice. 

This program takes place March 20th - May 12th. Along with interning they will receive mentorship from professionals all over the country, continual PD and networking events all a part of their program experience. This is a paid internship for Dearborn students. 

The food Project is hiring!

This summer, we will recruit 84 high school students between the ages of 14 and 17 across racial, socio-economic, gender identity, and geographic differences to work on our urban and suburban farms in Boston, Lincoln, Lynn, and Wenham, MA. During this six-week program (running July 5 – August 17, 2023), youth work with staff to grow vegetables and distribute thousands of pounds of produce, while developing leadership, teamwork, workplace, and civic participation skills.

After working on our farms each morning, Seed Crew spends most afternoons in workshops learning about sustainable agriculture, food access, social justice, and more.

We are excited to engage with our new crews for Summer 2023!

Seed Crew members will work approximately 28-32 hours per week and will be paid $15.00 per hour.

LEAH Project’s Data Science & Biomedical Research Summer Internship 

The LEAH Project is a STEM access and college & career readiness program for high school youth historically underrepresented in STEM. We are recruiting for the LEAH Knox Data Science & Biomedical Research Internship Summer 2023. This is a 2-year program, which includes biology and data analysis lab work at MIT, mentorship opportunities with STEM professionals, and summer internship placements. This is a stipend opportunity; students will earn approximately $2250 for summer 2023.
