The child of a Southern man and the great-grandchild of an Alabamian pastor, they weren't exactly raised christian but with christian values in mind. They identify as agender and unlabeled in terms of sexuality and found themself questioning why Black queers often have such complicated relationships with religion; is it the religion or the people? That is the question that fuels the passion behind their Capstone project.
Rowyn Haynes blesses the lovely month of June with the spring month being their birth month, where they were born in Boston, Massachusetts. They love musicals (especially Hadestown), dogs and cats, singing, writing, and practically all things creative. But they don't dance. Or like bugs. Yucky.
