Lesson slides- I have made slides for each lesson.
Lesson videos- IN each lesson slideshow, there is a VIDEO of a teacher teaching the lesson. He goes over practice problems and talks through it!
Review activities- these might be interactive slides with practice problems, digital escape rooms, etc.
Zearn "Math Chat" notes- these are notes that students complete DURING the Zearn lesson; they follow along with the video and fill out the notes
Lesson notes- they should be taking notes in their notebook during each lesson; these notes are ALSO found in the LESSON SLIDES
Problem Sets- pages of practice problems organized by each lesson. We complete some of them in class.
Vocabulary handouts/ reference sheets- occasionally, students will receive handouts with vocab. terms or helpful graphics/ info to refer to
Zearn- students should be completing their Zearn lessons; they can always GO BACK and REDO their lesson to REVIEW- the MATH CHAT walks them through the lesson, and the TOWER OF POWER gives them practice problems
Boddle- this website (boddlelearning.com) is standards-based practice in the form of games. I assign specific lesson and students can find those practice problems in the ASSIGNMENTS tab. I can also monitor their progress!
Homework will be given on a week by week basis. I will let you know on Dojo when it is sent home. This is the perfect way for students to get some extra practice in at home, and for you to see what they are learning! All of the resources listed above will help. I will also send Answer Keys for you to check their work.
