This week we are finishing up investigating the following anchor phenomena as we wrap up Unit 1: Weathering and Erosion. Anchor Phenomena: Louisiana loses about 75 square kilometers of coastline annually. We have explored a variety of sources in the classroom exploring the effects of weathering and erosion on the anchor phenomena. This week, we will begin Unit 2: Earth's Processes. We are exploring the following phenomena for Unit 2: Fossils of dire wolves, saber tooth cats, and woolly mammoths are among the over 3.5 million fossils found in Los Angeles, California.
