Professional Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor of Arts from University of Virginia - May 1983;  Master's degree in Communication Disorders from LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport- May 2003

Work Experience in speech-language pathology: Bossier Parish Schools - August 2003 to present (Curtis Elementary since 2004).  I also served Elm Grove Middle School students from 2004 to 2018. 

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) - National Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association

State Licensed by the Louisiana Board of Examiners for Speech Pathology and Audiology

"Student of the Year" at the LSU Health Sciences Center School of Allied Health, Speech Pathology program - 2003

"Alumna of the Year" at the LSU Health Sciences Center School of Allied Health, Speech Pathology program - 2006

Personal Information:

Married with two grown children and three grandchildren.
