LEAP 2025
End of Course Testing
All students who are enrolled in a high school assessment-eligible course for the first time must take the LEAP 2025 high school assessment aligned to the course. This includes students on all diploma pathways, students eligible for the April Dunn Act (Act 833), students participating in alternate assessment and students who are in a middle school grade or T9.
LEAP 2025 (End of Course) Testing
Students will take LEAP 2025 end-of-course exams in the following subjects:
English I
English II
Algebra I
Geometry
Biology
U.S. History
Civics
In order to meet graduation requirements in the State of Louisiana, a student MUST pass* at least one exam from each pair:
English I OR English II
Algebra I OR Geometry
Biology OR U.S. History (students entering 2023-2024 or earlier / Civics (students entering 2024-2025 and beyond)
*Passing scores are Approaching Basic, Basic, Mastery, and Advanced.

KNOW THE STUDENT STANDARDS
To find out the grade-level learning expectations for each subject, take a look at Louisiana’s Student Standards, which gives descriptions of the skills and knowledge students are expected to gain every year.

PRACTICE TESTS
LEAP 2025 practice Tests for ELA, math, science, and social studies are available on the Lousiana Department of Educaiton website.
Haughton High School students have access to Albert.io to assist them with preparing for the Algebra I, Geometry, and Biology LEAP 2025 tests.

Once logged in, select the Library link at the top. Choose your course from the list of High School subject areas on the left. For example, click Math and then select Algebra I or Geometry.
Haughton High School students also have access to IXL personalized learning to assist them with preparing for the Algebra I, Geometry, English I, and English II LEAP 2025 tests.

Scroll to the LEAP Practice test for your course and select the Preview icon.
You can complete a practice test without creating an account OR
Log in using your @bossierstudents Google Credentials and enter the class code provided by your teacher. If your teacher has not given you one, ask them to assign a practice test for you in Edulastic.
