Note: Unless otherwise specified, ALL events below are intended for registered members of SU72 (Hillsborough) ONLY.
FALL PRODUCT: Nuts/Magazines sales will start on 9/17 and end on 10/26. Additional information will be coming over the next few weeks directly from our Fall Product team (nuts@borogirlscouts.org.) Please make sure you have re-registered as the system will be loaded on 9/3. It will be much easier for your Troop Leader/Nut Manager if you are registered/re-registered no later than Sept 2.
SERVICE Halloween Parades- Sat Oct 25 & Sun Oct 26 (D/B) Multiple Sessions - Looking for Daisies and Brownies to show off their Halloween costumes at our local senior facilities. Attached is a song book for troops that wish to sing along the parade route! Sign up here
2025 All for Fall - Investiture, Rededication, Bridging - Sunday Oct 26 from 2-4pm, Hillsborough Municipal Building. Join us for an annual Hillsborough Girl Scout tradition as we invest our new Girl Scouts and Leaders, rededicate ourselves to the Girl Scout Promise and Law, and bridge our girls as they move up in their Girl Scouting levels. We’ll also honor and celebrate our founder Juliette Gordon Low’s birthday with a service project and a dessert social! Register HERE by October 11th (form will close when capacity is reached). There is no cost for the event however we ask each troop to bring a contribution for the dessert social that you can sign up for on the registration form. Have Questions? November 1st from 10am - 2pm: Maya, Grace and Haben from Troop 60561 are fundraising for their Gold award projects. They will be selling handmade crayons at a craft fair at the Hillsborough Municipal Building on November 1st from 10am - 2pm.
Pollinator Garden Fall Shut Down - All levels (Monday 11/4) - 4:30pm Still looking for a few more girls to help put the Pollinator Garden to bed for the winter!
SERVICE Veteran's Day Flag Ceremony at MMOG - Sun Nov 9th (All levels) 12:30p-1:30pm - We are looking for Girl Scouts to participate in the Mary Mother of God Church Veteran's Day flag ceremony. Please note that since we will not be able to train/teach/refresh girls the day of the ceremony, we are only looking for Girl Scouts who have done this before. Sign up here

Troop 61096 is hosting a "Wicked for Good" Money Earner at Hillsborough Cinemas on Opening Weekend Sat Nov 22nd. Movie starts at 11:45 AM. Price includes, ticket, popcorn and fountain drink! Fun patches are available (and also included in the price!) This is open to the public and great for those out of town guests arriving for the Thanksgiving Holiday! Sign up and order HERE
GOLD AWARD PROJECT ACTIVITY Please join Girl Scout Gold Award Candidate, Alyssa P., as she co-hosts a cleanup with Raritan Watershed from 10 - 11:30 a.m. to take action against environmental damage! If you would like to attend fill out this form. Additional details will be provided after registration. This event is open to the public and if children come individually, parents should plan to stay.
Cookies & Cocoa Pajama Movie Night - Saturday, December 6th 3-5pm at the Municipal Building - TROOP/IRG REGISTRATION ONLY - event registration will open on 10/28 at approximately 8pm. Looking for C/S/A Volunteers. Sign up here.

Brownie Fair Play Swimming Event - Saturday, January 17, 2026 2-3:30pm at Pinnacle Health & Fitness. Brownie Girl Scouts can earn their Fair Play badge and enjoy some free swim time. SAVE THE DATE SU72 World Thinking Day Sun Feb. 22nd - 100th anniversary! Theme for 2026 is “Our Friendship.” Activities will celebrate the friendships that connect us all around the globe. Registration will open in November. Start thinking about what country your troop will represent at the World Showcase.

National/Council Activities:
GSHNJ Calendar of Events including hikes, and other fun events
GSHNJ Clubs/Teams: Learn more about Council-run special interest groups/teams for Girl Scouts including Family Ramblers (for girls & their families), SheStormz Robotics Team, Astronomy Club, Media Girls, and the HNJGIRL Advisory Board. These clubs/teams are independent of individual troop activities.
