Important Things You Need Before You Begin Tutoring:
After completing an application online and attending an orientation session, you'll need to pass a background check and TB test.
We recommend going to Wellness Mart, MD, which is less than a mile away from Boost! West Oakland's classroom in downtown Oakland. Address is: Wellness Mart, MD 1409 Webster St, Oakland, CA 94612. You can get a TB test for $38. Please note that you'll need to visit twice; once to get the shot, the second to get the results read. For the $23 Live Scan test, you'll need to bring your photo ID and a Live Scan Service Request Form, which you can find below.
